Caring for your Next Timber™ Benchtops is easy. Simply use a damp cloth and a mild detergent to routinely clean the tops. Wipe spills and excess water immediately. The benchtops can be re-sanded and refinished at any time during their life to maintain their good looks.
Finishing:
As timber is a living product, it needs to be maintained properly. Next Timber™ is supplied raw which gives the choice of finishing processes.
For a natural look, Next Timber™ can be finished with high quality timber oils. This can easily be done in the home and only requires minor reworking during the lifetime of the product to maintain the timbers beauty. The oils should be food grade making them a safe option for families.
Another option is to have polyurethane coating professionally applied resulting in a hard, gloss finish. Over time, the gloss patina will increase with regular maintenance.
